Both partners undergo essential medical tests, including:

• Hormone tests (for ovarian function)
• AMH test (to assess ovarian reserve)
• Serology tests (to check for infectious diseases)

Stimulation usually begins on day 2 or 3 of the menstrual cycle. The patient takes daily hormone injections for 10–12 days, with close monitoring by the doctor.

Once eggs reach the correct size, a trigger injection is administered. After 36–48 hours, eggs are collected under medical supervision. On the same day, a semen sample is collected from the partner.

Eggs are fertilized in the lab with sperm, and embryos are cultured until day 5 for optimal development.

On day 5, a few cells are carefully taken from the embryos and sent for NGS testing. Unlike traditional PGD/PGT methods, NGS requires 2–3 weeks for results.

NGS analyzes all 46 chromosomes for abnormalities in both number and structure. Special focus is given to chromosomes 13, 18, 21, X, and Y, which are linked to common conditions such as Down, Edwards, and Patau syndromes.

Because NGS results take time, embryos are frozen after biopsy and stored safely until results are ready.

In a later cycle, once the NGS results are available, only healthy embryos are selected and transferred to the uterus. The endometrium is prepared with supportive medication.

The patient is advised to rest, avoid heavy lifting, eat a balanced diet, and take all supportive medications as prescribed.

Twelve days after embryo transfer, a blood test is performed to confirm pregnancy.
