Egg Donation is recommended for women who cannot use their own eggs due to:

• Advanced maternal age (especially over 45)
• Premature menopause or ovarian failure
• Very low ovarian reserve (low AMH)
• Early onset of menopause
• History of medical treatments (such as chemotherapy) affecting ovaries

Donors are young and healthy women carefully selected to match the recipient in:

• Eye color
• Hair color
• Skin tone
• Blood group and Rh factor (for medical compatibility)

The recipient does not undergo ovarian stimulation. Instead, medications are prescribed to prepare the uterus, including:

• Estrofem (Estrogen): to strengthen the endometrium
• Folic Acid: to support a healthy pregnancy
• Coraspin (low-dose aspirin): to improve uterine blood flow

Eggs are collected from the donor and fertilized in the laboratory with the partner’s sperm. At the same time, the recipient begins supportive medications such as hormonal injections, tablets, and vaginal progesterone.

Embryos are cultured and monitored for 5 days to ensure proper development before transfer.

Healthy embryos are transferred into the recipient’s uterus once the endometrium is ready. Additional medications continue to support implantation.

The recipient is advised to rest, avoid heavy lifting, eat a balanced diet, and strictly follow prescribed medications for the best outcome.

Twelve days after embryo transfer, a blood test is performed to confirm pregnancy.
