IVF with Embryo Donation

IVF with Embryo Donation

  • Failure of several previous IVF cycles
  • Premature ovarian failure or absence of eggs in the wife
  • Genetic or medical conditions preventing use of wife’s eggs or husband’s sperm

Embryo Source

  • Sperm is not obtained locally from the husband in these cases. Instead, samples are used from certified international sperm banks (World Sperm Banks).
  • Donated embryos are pre-stored and selected according to strict health and quality standards.

Recipient Preparation

  • The wife (recipient) begins treatment with oral medications only (hormonal tablets) to strengthen and prepare the endometrium for embryo transfer.
  • Common medications include:
    • Estrofem – stimulates endometrial growth
    • Folic Acid – supports pregnancy health
    • Coraspin – improves uterine blood circulation
  • No ovarian stimulation injections are used, as eggs come from the donor.
Step 1: Preparing the Endometrium
Step 2: Selecting Donor Embryos
Step 3: Embryo Transfer
Step 4: Post-Transfer Care
Step 5: Pregnancy Test
